Motorcycle Speedway Racer Greg Hancock Dons Flexfit Hat

Champion Motorcycle Speedway Racing star, Greg Hancock, collaborated with Flexfit to create Hancock’s custom “GRIN” cap. The Flexfit 110 Adjustable cap was designed with Hancock’s logo, featuring a wide grinning smile, embroidered on the front of the hat and on the undervisor, with the athletes number, 45, embroidered on the back of the hat.

As part of Flexfit’s sponsorship of Greg Hancock, 500 of the Greg Hancock GRIN caps were created; an homage to Hancock’s nickname “The Grin,” which celebrates the racing star’s trademark smile.

Speedway racing is popular in Europe and his growing in the United States. Flexfit is a big supporter of action sports, and is excited  to sponsor a remarkable athlete at the top of his game. “Motorcycle speedway racing is an important market for Flexfit,” states Andy Song, Marketing Director for Flexfit. “And Greg is the current Speedway World Champion!”

Flexfit’s custom headwear collaboration with Hancock was born out of an introduction made through Flexfit’s freelance designer, Sean Diiulo, a good friend of the star athlete. “Once we got to know Greg there was mutual interest in working together,” continues Andy Song.

Talks began last year, and in December 2012 the Greg Hancock Flexfit GRIN hat was created.

Hancock provided creative input in contributing his personal GRIN logo for the hat’s front panel design, with his number 45 embroidered on the backside of the hat.

Flexfit chose their 110 Adjustable cap for the Greg Hancock custom GRIN hat to showcase their newest adjustable headwear technology, making this collaboration the best of both worlds.
